Are you thinking: Who am I to be giving YOU advice?!

It's a very valid question! I have been travelling for over a decade; my first backpacking trip was a solo journey to Ghana, West Africa, to participate in a volunteering project. Ten years later I have backpacked, worked and lived my way around every continent in the world.

I created this website so that I can share real, first-hand experiences of backpacking with you - tips, advice and most importantly, inspiration. I know all too well that if you are planning a backpacking trip for the first time then you will be going through a mix of emotions - excitement, nervousness and apprehension.

If there is any information you need which you cannot find within this site then just ask me! I love hearing from my readers and you are welcome to email me with your questions anytime.
